Membership Terms

These terms govern free and paid membership in nathandale.com, an independent publication operated by Nathan Dale.

Membership service

Public work may be browsed without payment. All Access membership may include members-only posts and newsletters, early access to original music and videos, exclusive stories, behind-the-scenes material, and other digital work described at signup. The type and frequency of new work will vary; membership supports an ongoing independent creative practice rather than a guaranteed publishing schedule.

Recurring billing

Paid membership renews automatically each month or year at the price and frequency shown at checkout until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize those recurring charges. Any price change will be communicated as required by law and will not be applied retroactively.

Cancellation

You may cancel online at any time through your member account. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless a refund or applicable law provides otherwise, access continues through the end of the period already paid for.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep access to your email account secure because Ghost uses email-based sign-in. Membership is for your personal use. Do not share paid access, republish or redistribute protected material, interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service unlawfully.

Ownership

Music, writing, photographs, video, design, and other original material remain owned by Nathan Dale or the identified rights holder. Membership grants a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the material; it does not transfer copyright or commercial-use rights.

Availability and termination

The site and its catalog may change, and occasional interruption may occur. I may restrict or end access for fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or a material violation of these terms. If I permanently discontinue paid service during a prepaid period, I will provide an appropriate refund for service not delivered.

Payments, tips, gifts, and refunds

Stripe processes payments. Tips and support payments are voluntary and are not charitable contributions. Gift purchases and paid memberships are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Legal terms

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived. These terms are governed by applicable California law. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
